Why is struggle necessary?

A man was sitting in a garden. Suddenly,
a cocoon fell from a tree. A tiny
butterfly was trying to emerge from it.

The man sat watching it for hours. Unable
to hold back, he decided to help the
butterfly.

Using a small pair of scissors lying nearby,
he cut open a part of the cocoon so the
butterfly could come out easily.

The butterfly did emerge, but it was
underdeveloped—missing a wing. Its
hindquarters were also somewhat swollen.It
could never fly.

In reality, the man had failed to consider
that struggle is also a part of life's
process. He put an end to the butterfly's
struggle, and in doing so, he ruined its
life forever.

Struggle builds our strength. Our children
are just like that butterfly. Simply
observe the struggles they face in life,
but do not eliminate them; otherwise,
you will destroy their capacity to struggle.

Lesson: Struggle is a part of life.
It is what makes us complete.
